Playground

In the fall of 2019, a sports playground was commissioned in the village of Shpatd, Rushan district. These structures were set up with the support and assistance of the Ministry of Transportation of the Republic of Tajikistan, and the local government representative of the region. Due to the initiation of the public association “Jurat,” a wide range of local youth were involved in the work, who have shown interest in this project for years. In a relatively short period of time, construction work was carried out, starting with the forming of the foundation, the building of the wall of the highway, and the tribune for the audience from the north side. The final part of the work was the construction of a barrier net, painting, allocation of places for sports places. The members of the NGO "Jurat" and its volunteers took an active part in the organizational aspect of the project.  For example, they were the ones who treated the welding crew with particular care in order to ensure their safety. On the day of the opening of the sports playground, there was no end to the joy of the residents of Shpad. The celebration was attended by the first deputy chairman of GBAO, the head of the district administration, representatives of the local community, and, of course, the residents of Shpad, young and old. They expressed their satisfaction and joy with cheerful songs and dances, demonstrations of product samples, and products of folk crafts. The solemn event was completed by a friendly meeting between volleyball players from the village of Shpad and their peers from another village, Deh.
